Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Touchline Live handles account information, team and match data, public content, communications, and technical usage information.

Effective date: May 27, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Touchline Live collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Touchline Live website, apps, and related services.

Touchline Live is the operator responsible for the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

By using Touchline Live, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect information you provide directly, including account details, login information, organization and team records, roster data, player information, recruiting profile information, match events, schedules, uploaded images, highlight links, notes, and communications you send through the platform.

For notifications, we may collect notification preferences, delivery records, web push subscriptions, iOS push notification tokens, device or browser details, app environment details, and user-agent information needed to deliver alerts.

We may also collect technical and usage information such as browser type, device details, pages visited, timestamps, referring pages, interactions with platform features, security logs, and approximate location derived from IP address. Touchline Live does not request precise GPS location through the website.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to operate and improve Touchline Live, authenticate users, manage teams and organizations, power public pages, deliver match, recap, reminder, and push notification communications, maintain platform security, respond to support requests, and analyze product usage.

We may also use information to enforce our terms, prevent misuse, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Public Content

Some Touchline Live features are designed to publish content publicly, including team pages, organization pages, player pages, recruiting profiles, schedules, match pages, scores, and related statistics, photos, highlight links, or media.

Information you or your organization choose to publish publicly may be visible to anyone and may be copied, indexed, or shared by third parties.

Public or unlisted athlete and recruiting profiles may include roster details, school year or graduation information, measurements, photos, statistics, bio details, contact information, coach contact information, and highlight links when those fields are provided and published by an authorized user.

5. How We Share Information

We may share information with service providers and infrastructure vendors that help us operate the platform, such as hosting, database, authentication, storage, email delivery, push notification, logging, monitoring, and analytics providers if enabled.

Current platform vendors may include Supabase for database, authentication, and storage; Vercel for hosting and platform logs; Resend for email delivery; Apple Push Notification service for iOS notifications; and browser push services for web notifications.

We may also share information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, in connection with a business transfer, or with your direction or consent.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

6. Cookies And Similar Technologies

Touchline Live may use cookies, local storage, session tokens, and similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, secure sessions, and understand how the platform is used.

Your browser may allow you to block or delete some of these technologies, but doing so may affect site functionality.

7. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal or operational obligations.

Retention periods may vary based on the type of data, the settings chosen by your organization, platform recovery needs, notification delivery records, security logs, and audit needs.

When a team, match, player, account, or media item is deleted, some related records may remain for backup, security, audit, dispute, legal, or operational reasons unless and until they are no longer needed.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials, admin codes, and access links.

9. Children And School-Age Athletes

Touchline Live may be used by clubs, schools, and team staff to manage roster and player-related information, including information about minors. The organization using the platform is responsible for ensuring it has appropriate rights, notices, and permissions for the information it uploads or publishes.

Because public team pages, player pages, match pages, statistics, photos, and recruiting profiles may include school-age athlete information, organizations should review what they publish before making pages public or sharing links.

If you believe information about a child has been posted or handled improperly through Touchline Live, contact us and we will review the request.

10. Your Choices

You may be able to access, update, or correct certain account or profile information through the platform.

You may also contact us to request deletion or review of certain information, subject to legal, security, operational, and recordkeeping limitations.

11. Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and update the effective date.

Your continued use of Touchline Live after an updated Privacy Policy is posted means you acknowledge the revised policy to the extent permitted by law.

12. Contact

Questions or privacy requests can be sent to info@touchline-live.com.

If you need help with a privacy request or want to report a concern about published information, contact Touchline Live and include enough detail for us to review it.
